As a kid who would not be able to ride as much as I do without the Mary and Anna Memorial Youth Fund started by EDRA, I want to extend a massive thank you to Lois Fox and Sue McLain for organizing a raffle that raised $6,500 for the fund that enables us kids to ride for free in the northwest, regardless of distance affiliation.
PNER ride managers have taken on 50% of our ride entry fee and the fund covers the other 50% so that any rider under the age of 18 as of January 1 is able to ride completely free.
I think I can speak for all of us when I say thank you, from all of the youth in the northwest, to Lois and Sue, along with those who started this fund in the first place.
Thank you to those of you who supported the raffle. Thank you to those of you who step up to sponsor juniors and youth riders. The support we receive is amazing and we are so grateful.
